In this work, which was made with the technique of photo collage, printing on fabric and stitching, four images of Naseruddin Shah, a Qajar woman playing the piano, Qajar carpet weavers, and Frida, a Mexican painter, were arranged together.
During the Qajar period, Naser al-Din Shah became very interested in western works and a trend was formed in Iranian art that turned to naturalism and with self-defeat against western art, the ancient and symbolic concepts of our native arts such as carpets were ignored. The carpet became a purely commercial product, and for example, in Sultanabad, the Ziegler company brought whatever it wanted on the carpet without any supervision.
